Getting Published Advice from Rich Milner

I attended the New Faculty Seminar for Division K at the American Education Research Association Annual Conference this year in Philadelphia. During our session, we broke out into small groups to talk about issues related to becoming a new faculty member. One of those sessions was on getting published. Rich Milner, editor of Urban Education, shared the attached document with us on getting published. It also includes some notes from the final sharing out of what we learned as well as some language for helping us help others realize how we need to stay focused on our writing. I wanted to save it as a resource for my future use.
